More about becoming an MBM Reseller
Overview
An MBM reseller is usually an organization with an existing client base of small businesses.
As an MBM reseller, you earn revenue from commissions on sales or discounts on purchases of MBM licenses and MBM renewals that are bought:
- by your clients from you
- by your clients directly from MBM
- by you from MBM as stock to sell to clients
You can also gain significant additional revenue from consulting based on MBM (see Consulting below).

Sales model
Eligible MBM products for commissions and discounts include:
- Business licenses (all versions)
- Professional Client licenses
- Annual renewals of all licenses above
As an MBM Reseller you have:
- a minimum sales quota of 50 MBM licenses per annum
- agreed commission payable on licenses, increasing for >50 units cumulatively bought or sold in any 12 month period
- agreed commission payable on license renewals
- the ability to register prospects for 90 days

Sales process
Resellers are each given a unique ID which ensures all sales are correctly tracked and allocated. The reseller ID must be used in all order transactions to ensure the correct discount or commission applies.
- Direct Sales
These are direct orders for MBM licenses via our website. When you order from our website using your unique reseller ID, your discount is automatically deducted from the invoiced price. You may pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), cheque or direct bank deposit, where licenses are activated once funds are cleared.
- Web link sales
You can also sell MBM licenses via your website. Just paste our logo, product image, thumbnail and unique MBM web-link containing your reseller ID into your web pages and emails. We will track all orders from your customers via this link and pay commissions on them at the end of each month.
Consulting revenue
This is revenue from additional consulting services, made possible by MBM. When small business clients can actually see and understand what their accounting data means, you have new opportunities to provide them with new consulting services to monitor and build their businesses.
These new services may be delivered directly by you or indirectly by a business associate or an MBM specialist you may nominate. In both cases, you can gain additional revenue. These consulting services may include but are not restricted to:
- Providing dashboards and reports to help clients manage their own businesses
- Explaining MBM reports, what they mean and what clients need to monitor
- Hosting regular board meetings to review results and address highlighted issues
- Providing regular oversight with an Executive Overview service
- Providing a management review service with recommendations to address issues
- Providing business consolidations to show how combined entities are performing
- Helping with preparation of budgets based on past performance or future targets
- Helping to create a Business Plan which can be understood by all stake-holders
- Assisting with business planning and business improvement
- Providing regular business mentoring on key issues
Support
The Reseller will provide First level support to Clients. Your Distributor, if you have one, will provide second level support to you. My Business Manager will provide all other support to the Client according to our license terms and conditions.
